Job summary

JPM Industry in Vale de Cambra, Aveiro is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop solutions for robotic cells, special machines and mobile robotics. You will plan and manage design activities while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across projects.

The role requires a CET or engineering degree and over 3 years of experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks. You will work in a full-time, on-site setting in Portugal.

Qualifications

• The candidate has a CET or a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or Design.
• More than 3 years of experience is mandatory.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and SolidWorks and ability to read technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical solutions for robotic cells, special machines and mobile robotics.
• Plan, organize and manage development and project design activities.
• Ensure quality, functionality and safety requirements of equipment.
• Guarantee deadlines and costs in project development.
• Prepare maintenance manuals for developed equipment and solutions.
• Research new technologies, materials and procedures to improve products.
• Act proactively to optimize processes for efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate constructively in problem-solving.
