Instituto de Telecomunicações in Aveiro is offering a Research Initiation Grant (BII) for electronics-focused candidates to develop a Driver amplifier subsystem for wireless laboratory experiments. The device targets high power gain, wide GHz-range bandwidth, and excellent linearity, powered from a 220 VAC supply. The work is supervised by Prof.

Telmo Reis Cunha, at Aveiro premises, with a duration of 6 months and potential renewal up to 1 year. Start date: November 2026 or soon thereafter.

Formación

• Electronics focus with design, analysis and lab measurement requirements.
• Knowledge of signal processing concepts is essential.
• Understanding of telecommunications basics and system theory is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Support development of the Driver amplifier subsystem for RF lab experiments.
• Contribute to high‑power gain and wide bandwidth design with high linearity.
• Collaborate under supervision of Prof. Telmo Reis Cunha to advance the project goals.
