Job summary

Glanua Ltd in Lisbon is hiring a CAD/Revit Technician to join our office-based team on water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You will produce multi-discipline models, drawings and schedules in collaboration with M,E,Civ/Struct teams.

The role requires a BIM qualification with at least 3 years’ experience in BIM coordination, strong communication, and ability to meet project deadlines. We offer a laptop, mobile, 25 days leave and employee support.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or equivalent with BIM exposure.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in BIM Co-ordination.
• Experience in Revit model creation and family creation.
• Experience with Navisworks Manage and BIM 360.
• Ability to meet tight project timelines and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage the production of multi-discipline coordinated models, drawings and schedules.
• Align design development with the project BIM execution plan and coordinate/model checks.
• Liaising between Mechanical & Electrical Designers and Civil & Structural Designers.
• Production and maintenance of MIDP throughout the project.
• Participation in drawing/design reviews and feasibility studies.
• Liaising with project teams to ascertain project needs and timelines.
• Taking instructions from Engineers and producing drawings with limited supervision.
• Use initiative to support the CAD team and grow CAD expertise.
