Job summary

Javá, a Lisbon-founded hospitality group, seeks a General Manager for its hybrid venue in Portugal. You will lead floor and bar operations, own scheduling, and manage budgets while aligning with HQ and brand standards.

The role requires a hands-on presence on busy days, peak shifts, and events to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Lead by example, recruit and develop a high-performing team, and ensure compliance with HACCP, health, and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in hospitality, including high-volume venues.
• At least 3 years as General Manager with full accountability for floor and bar operations.
• Fluent in English; Portuguese or local language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead floor and bar operations with strong service flow and guest focus.
• Own scheduling, team leadership, budgets, and HQ alignment.
• Ensure HACCP, health, safety, and sanitation standards are followed.
