Thales Business Support Services (TBSS) in Paço de Arcos, Portugal, seeks talented individuals to join as a R2R Team Member (Reporting) to support record-to-report processes for Thales entities.

You will assist Team Leaders, ensure month-end closings, and maintain GL and asset ledgers while preparing accounting reports. Proficiency in Power BI, Power Query, and advanced Excel is required, with good English skills.

Qualificações

• Degree in Accounting, Management, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of accounting experience, ideally related to R2R.
• Practical knowledge of PowerBI and Power Query.
• Microsoft Excel and MS Office tools (advanced).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good English (written and spoken).
• Knowledge of SQL is appreciated.

Responsabilidades

• Execute accounting and controls checks in line with internal procedures.
• Maintain accuracy in GL and Assets ledgers.
• Prepare reports on Accounts Payable and Receivable.
• Support month-end closing and meet service deadlines.
• Help develop the team by sharing knowledge.
• Adhoc tasks as requested.

Thales Business Support Services (TBSS) acts as a Shared Service Center for Thales Group by serving a number of countries for various key tasks associated to finance and accounting processes. This business support services center of excellence drives innovation within our internal business processes, cutting through complexity and supporting our external leadership in digitalization.

At Thales Business Support Services, we are looking for new Talents to join us as a R2R Team Member (Reporting) and work in a dynamic and highly innovative environment.

Primary Purpose of the Role:

Support the Record-to-Report Team Leader and Assistant Team Leader, to deliver against their Service obligations to Thales companies whilst seeking to improve efficiencies of process and accuracy of delivery.

Principal Relationships:

• Record-to-Report Assistant Team Leader/ Record-to-Report Team
• Leader/Record-to-Report Manager;
• Other SSC teams;
• Business Unit Finance teams.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Responsible for executing accounting and associated controls checks in accordance with internal customer business procedures;
• Maintain accuracy within the GL and Assets ledgers;
• Prepare reports on Accounting Payables and Receivables;
• Comply with the month end closing, ensuring the deadlines and the outputs that have to be provided to the customers;
• Help developing the team by sharing knowledge and expertise;
• Adhoc tasks as requested;
• Perform and Develop KPIs.

Your Profile:

• Degree in Accounting, Management, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in Accounting activities, ideally related to R2R;
• Practical knowledge of PowerBI and Power Query;
• Microsoft tools (particularly advanced Excel);
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
• Developed critical thinking skills;
• Good interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the ability to work in a multicultural environment;
• Good level of English (written and spoken);
• Knowledge of SQL is very appreciated.
