Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an on-site HVAC field service technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment at customer locations. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and site surveys, addressing both mechanical and electro-mechanical components as required.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of HVAC experience or an equivalent combination of technical school education and hands-on work.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in HVAC or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to diagnose system problems and work from blueprints or specifications.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, diagnose and repair equipment and systems at customer locations.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance, inspections, site surveys, and service requests.
• Repair mechanical and electro-mechanical components by making, repairing, adapting or adjusting parts as required.

Where Is The Work

Field-based: Work is conducted on-site at customer locations.

Purpose: Ensures customer satisfaction by identifying, analyzing, diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems at customer’s location. Performs scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance, inspections, site surveys, and service requests. Repairs mechanical and electro-mechanical components of productive and non-productive equipment and machinery by making, repairing, adapting and/or adjusting parts and components as required.

Contributions: This role plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by servicing products and equipment on assigned projects. Ability to diagnose system problems.
