Jobgether is seeking a Web3 Licensing and Regulatory Compliance Specialist based in Portugal to guide digital-asset clients through licensing and regulatory readiness. You will develop governance, AML/CFT procedures, and technical controls aligned with EU and UAE frameworks, collaborating with cybersecurity, product, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of experience in digital-asset regulatory compliance, financial-services licensing, legal or compliance operations, regulatory consulting, or related field.
• Practical experience supporting a Web3 licensing or authorization process for CASP/VASP/token issuer, with value on MiCA, VARA, ADGM FSRA, DFSA frameworks.
• Knowledge of blockchain networks, wallets, custody, exchanges, token issuance, stablecoins, and digital-asset business models.
• Working knowledge of regulatory requirements relating to governance, risk, consumer protection, technology, cybersecurity, and AML/CFT in digital-asset contexts.
• Ability to interpret complex regulatory texts, map obligations to controls, and prepare clear documentation.
• Excellent organizational skills to coordinate stakeholders and deliver multiple workstreams.

Responsabilités

• Deliver regulatory consulting projects for crypto-asset service providers and other digital-asset businesses.
• Support licensing readiness, authorization processes, compliance gap assessments, regulatory reviews, and implementation projects.
• Assist clients with preparing and coordinating licensing applications, supporting documentation, evidence, and responses to regulators across EU and UAE.
• Translate regulatory requirements into governance frameworks, AML/CFT procedures, cybersecurity measures, and operational policies.
• Evaluate existing compliance arrangements and develop remediation plans to support licensing and ongoing compliance.
• Monitor evolving Web3 regulations and supervisory expectations, focusing on EU and UAE jurisdictions.
• Prepare regulatory analyses, compliance reports, and application materials; present findings in workshops and deliverables.
• Convert regulatory research into reusable templates and improved advisory services.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, AML, product, and engineering teams to define regulatory requirements and improve tools.
• Identify new service opportunities from client feedback and market developments.
