Job summary

Dremio in Portugal (Remote) is seeking a Software Engineer - Developer Experience to help build and maintain CI/CD systems and developer productivity tooling across our cloud-native platform.

You will work on infrastructure spanning AWS, Azure, and GCP, automate local development workflows, and participate in code reviews to keep our development branches green.

The role requires a B.S./M.S. in CS and 1+ years in distributed systems, with a passion for reliable, scalable software and collaboration.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 1+ year of experience on large-scale distributed systems.
• Hands-on with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking and architecture.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, Python, or Go.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to improve developer productivity.
• Automate and optimize deployment processes across clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Analyze performance bottlenecks and document resolutions.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve tooling and workflows.
• Participate in code reviews and release engineering.
• Manage access to key infrastructure and monitor reliability.
