Job summary

Dremio is hiring a Software Engineer to own and evolve Developer Experience, focusing on CI/CD tooling and scalable infrastructure. You’ll work across major clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP) and contribute to pipelines, automation, and tooling that keeps development flowing smoothly.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S in Computer Science or in a related technical field.
• 1+ years of experience on large scale distributed systems.
• Demonstrable knowledge of at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Basic understanding of cloud networking and cloud architecture.
• Proficiency in Java/C++/Python/Go.
• Knowledge of Maven or similar build environments.
• Hands-on experience in pipeline automation using CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Experience in Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with Terraform, BASH, Docker, Jenkins, and Kubernetes.
• Ability to write technical reports and summarize data clearly.
• Passion for learning and delivering new technologies.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Solve problems for Dremio engineers by using playbooks to implement solutions.
• Identify short-term workarounds and document them.
• Automate manual processes to improve efficiency.
• Work on infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Manage access to key infrastructure.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and related systems.
• Automate local development workflows.
• Analyze performance bottlenecks and file defects, documenting resolutions.
• Keep development branches green and stable.
• Automate release processes to delivery endpoints."
• Report on status, reliability and robustness of CI/CD systems.
• Participate actively in code reviews.
