Air Apps is a fully remote company building mobile apps with a global team. We seek a Back-end NodeJS Developer to design, develop, and maintain server-side solutions supporting front-end teams and third-party/cloud services.

You’ll work on NoSQL/SQL databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL) with a focus on performance and security. Join a fast-growing startup with flexible work arrangements, Apple hardware, and opportunities for learning and growth.

Qualifications

• 5 years of professional NodeJS development experience.
• Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of Git Flow, CI/CD, unit testing, and TDD.
• Proven ability to design scalable backend systems with high availability.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Responsabilités

• Write reusable, testable, clear, and efficient code.
• Design and implement low-latency, high-availability backend processes.
• Integrate third-party services, cloud services, and data storage (NoSQL/SQL).
• Ensure data privacy and security across the backend solution.
• Run diagnostics, fix bugs, and improve performance of backend systems.
• Document processes, integrations, and DB schemas.
• Keep up-to-date with backend technologies and trends.
• Suggest and implement process/tech improvements.
