Job summary

SPD Technology invites a Senior Azure Data Architect to lead the data architecture strategy across GenAI and Agentic AI initiatives. You will own the data layer, data modeling, and ingestion pipelines, enabling secure, scalable AI-ready data for enterprise use.

You will work with Azure Cosmos DB, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, and data lake technologies to modernize platforms and support retrieval for AI applications. Remote or hybrid options available.

Qualifications

• Strong background in enterprise Azure Data Architecture.
• Proven depth in Azure Cosmos DB and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Experience designing data/knowledge layer for GenAI/RAG/Agentic AI apps.
• Hands-on with Azure Data Platform technologies (Databricks, SQL MI, Data Lake).
• Experience in data modeling, ingestion pipelines, and modernizing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own and design the data architecture and data modeling for enterprise Azure environments.
• Design the data layer for GenAI, RAG, and Agentic AI applications for retrieval and AI consumption.
• Implement scalable, metadata-driven data ingestion and platform solutions.
• Work with structured and unstructured data across the enterprise platform.
• Modernize existing data platforms and ensure ready-to-implement architecture.
