Lever, Inc. is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer based in Portugal to join a remote, international team.

You will transform billions of daily events into reliable data products, designing pipelines, models, dashboards, and analytics tools that empower teams and customers to make data-driven decisions. You will work with SQL, Python, and distributed data systems at scale, collaborating with analysts, engineers, and product managers to turn business questions into robust data solutions and

Qualificações

• Expert-level SQL skills and experience with large-scale datasets.
• Strong Python for data processing, automation, analytics, or tooling.
• Experience with modern analytics engineering stacks and tools such as dbt, Airflow, or comparable modeling and orchestration technologies.
• Strong understanding of business metrics, including how to define, validate, interpret, and communicate them effectively.
• Experience in ecommerce or AI data products is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data models that power analytics, reporting, and business decision-making.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and analytical tools that make complex behavioral data accessible, reliable, and actionable.
• Partner with stakeholders to define, document, and validate meaningful business metrics.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, reliability, and performance across systems processing billions of events.
• Collaborate with analysts, software engineers, and product managers to translate business questions into robust data models and solutions.
• Work extensively with SQL, Python, and distributed data technologies to process and model large-scale datasets.
• Build data products that support teams across the organization and customer-facing analytics experiences.
• Own analytics domains end-to-end from problem Understanding to implementation and improvement.
• Contribute to modern analytics infrastructure, modeling practices, orchestration, and tooling.
