Side UK Ltd in Braga, Portugal, is seeking a Localization QA Game Tester for a 100% remote position within the Schengen Area. You will join the Localization Quality Assurance team to review translated text, images and the UI, ensuring linguistic accuracy and cultural consistency across titles.

No prior game-localization experience is required; fluency in Russian and English conversation are essential. You’ll log errors, propose improvements, and support project teams with precise language checks

Qualificações

• No experience required.
• Fluency in Russian and conversational English.
• Strong cultural understanding of the language you are applying for.
• Computer literacy – particularly with Excel.
• Robust Internet research skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and collaborate within project teams.
• Candidate must be located within the Schengen Area, in Europe.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with a global project team.
• Identify and correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other language errors.
• Ensure adherence to console manufacturer guidelines.
• Log details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions.
• Ensure accurate translation within context and maintain consistency in terminology and imagery.
• Identify missing or incorrect content and ensure proper display/format of dates, calendars, and characters.
• Write reports on errors and bugs found and perform ad hoc translation.
• Oversee the quality of your work, collaborate with the team, and contribute to the overall success of projects.
