Jobgether is seeking a Risk Portfolio Manager based in Portugal to oversee credit portfolio performance, underwriting, and profitability analysis in a fast-paced fintech environment. You will translate data into actionable recommendations and automate key risk indicators for scalable growth.

You will work with cross-functional teams across time zones, using SQL and Python to uncover trends and support strategic decisions that expand access to innovative financial solutions for SMBs.

Qualifications

• Approximately seven years of experience in credit risk, lending, portfolio management, or analytics.
• Experience in fintech or financial services with lending/credit exposure.
• Ability to evaluate high-value merchant exposures at scale.

Responsibilities

• Monitor credit portfolio performance and profitability.
• Underwrite high-value merchant facilities starting at USD 100,000-200,000.
• Define and track risk metrics related to losses, yield, and quality.
• Extract, structure, and analyze portfolio data using SQL and Python.
• Interpret data to support credit decisions and strategic planning.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and present clear insights.
• Automate portfolio monitoring and reporting processes.
