Job summary

Bontaz Portugal, as part of the Bontaz Group, seeks a proactive Project Manager (M/F/D) to lead R&D initiatives from concept to delivery. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners, ensuring alignment with specs, budget, and timelines in a fast-evolving mobility tech environment.

Ideal candidates will have an engineering degree, proven PM experience (preferably in automotive R&D), and strong leadership, communication, and tool proficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in project management, preferably in R&D and/or the automotive sector.
• PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or similar).
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate R&D projects from concept to completion.
• Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with technical specs, quality standards, budget constraints, risk management, and deadlines.
• Act as the main point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders.
