Job summary

Bontaz Portugal is seeking a Product Designer to support the Product Engineers in designing and validating automotive components and assemblies. You will create detailed drawings, evaluate design options and contribute to the technical file in line with customer expectations and project constraints.

The role requires 3D CREO design experience, knowledge of quality tools such as APQP/AMDEC, and strong English communication skills. French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Background in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
• Knowledge of quality tools such as APQP and AMDEC.

Responsibilities

• Create drawings of components, sub-assemblies and assemblies.
• Develop and validate product function/sub-function against customer specs.
• Construct DV P for proto parts and off-tool/off-process tests.
• Collaborate with Product Engineers to ensure design meets cost, quality and deadlines.
