Job summary

Tether is seeking a Product Engineering Lead to drive QV.AC's on-device AI features. You will run the engineering and feature teams, shape technical design, and partner with product managers to turn vision into shipped capabilities.

You bring hands-on leadership of consumer AI apps, a sharp product sense, and an instinct for local-model constraints, latency, and memory. You’ll mentor leads and raise the engineering bar across the stack.

Qualifications

• Experience managing engineers or engineering leads who ship consumer AI-powered apps.
• Strong product sense to distinguish good features from busy ones.
• Intuition for applied AI and on-device constraints (latency, memory, battery).
• Proficient in using AI tools in your own work and prototyping.

Responsibilities

• Run the app and feature teams day to day, unblock and ship.
• Set high engineering bar for performance and APIs.
• Own the technical design of features and API surface.
• Collaborate with AI research and deep tech teams on reviews.
• Partner with product managers to turn roadmap into buildable work.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and team alignment.
