Tether seeks a Product Engineering Lead to guide QV.AC features and the on-device AI stack. You will supervise engineering teams, collaborate with product managers, and ensure high-quality, reliable features across the local AI platform.

You should bring deep JavaScript and React expertise, plus a proven track record shipping consumer AI-powered apps. This role offers a fully remote setup with international collaboration and a strong engineering culture.

Qualifications

• Experience managing engineers or engineering leads who ship consumer products
• Strong product sense: differentiate good features from busy ones
• Intuition for applied AI and on-device constraints (model size, latency, memory, battery)
• Proficiency using AI tools in daily work and exploring new models
• Deep JavaScript and React expertise
• Initiative, curiosity, resilience, and openness to direct critique

Responsibilities

• Engineering - lead app and feature teams, set a high engineering bar, own API design
• Product Partnership - translate vision into scoped work with PMs, balance scope vs reality
• Leadership - build clarity of goals, mentor leads, model hands-on leadership
