Job summary

FCamara is seeking a Mid Backend Engineer to design and evolve scalable backend systems within a modern .NET ecosystem. You will work on customer-centric platforms involving onboarding workflows, orchestration, and integrations across internal and external systems within a microservices-based architecture.

We are looking for candidates located in Portugal or the United Kingdom, due to the time zone alignment with the client.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Strong experience with C# and .NET and REST APIs.
• Experience with EF, SQL and relational databases; cloud familiarity (Azure or AWS).
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend APIs and services using C# and .NET.
• Work within a clean architecture and microservices-based ecosystem.
• Design and implement backend workflows and REST APIs.
• Write maintainable, testable, production-ready code.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Work with SQL databases, EF, and transactional workflows.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers on API contracts.
