Job summary

Side is seeking a Localization QA Game Tester to join our top gaming QA team. The role focuses on verifying translated text, images, and UI across platforms. You will spot linguistic issues, ensure consistency, and help improve localization quality in a multilingual project environment.

Remote within Schengen Area with potential path to full-time on-site later. Fluency in Ukrainian and conversational English are required; no prior experience needed.

Qualifications

• Fluent Ukrainian with conversational English.
• Strong cultural understanding of the target language.
• Excellent attention to detail and grammar.
• Good internet research skills and resourcefulness.
• Clear communication and ability to collaborate in teams.
• Candidates must be in Europe (Schengen Area).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a global project team.
• Identify and correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other language errors.
• Ensure adherence to console manufacturer guidelines.
• Log details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions.
• Ensure accurate translation within context and maintain consistency in terminology and imagery.
• Identify missing or incorrect content and ensure proper display/format of dates, calendars, and characters.
• Write reports on errors and bugs found and perform ad hoc translation.
• Oversee the quality of your work, collaborate with the team, and contribute to the overall success of projects.
