Jobgether, on behalf of our partner, seeks an Investment Banking AI Research Contributor based in Portugal. You will design Excel-based financial modeling tasks from IB/M&A experience and create precise evaluation rubrics to test AI models on real-world finance workflows.

You will work remotely on a short-term project (4–6 weeks) with weekly payments. Start immediately and contribute to cutting-edge AI evaluation methods while maintaining data integrity and independent, deadline-driven work.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in investment banking, M&A advisory, or corporate development.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills including merger models, pro forma statements, purchase accounting, precedent transaction analysis, football field valuations.
• Ability to build, review, troubleshoot, and extend complex financial models with accuracy and consistency.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent written English for task briefs and evaluation rubrics.
• Interest in AI research and willingness to learn AI evaluation methodologies.
• Independent, remote work capability with deadlines.
• Commitment to data confidentiality and using human-created materials only.
• Ability to start promptly and participate in onboarding.

Responsabilités

• Develop realistic Excel-based tasks from your IB/M&A experience.
• Create clear reference solutions for AI evaluation.
• Design precise, yes/no rubrics to evaluate task outputs.
• Test AI models against realistic financial scenarios.
• Refine evaluation frameworks and collaborate with reviewers.
• Prepare task briefs and input workbooks with sanitized data.
• Maintain data confidentiality and ensure no proprietary information is used.
• Complete onboarding and submit initial task with required input files.
