Körber Pharma Packaging AG in Porto, Portugal, is seeking a Solution Engineer - Connectivity Mid to strengthen the team focused on machine connectivity across the IT/OT layer. You will help bridge shop-floor OT with IT in the cloud to enable scalable IIoT use cases through Edge and Cloud technologies.

As part of a cross-functional, international team, you will design, develop, and roll out connectivity blueprints; contribute to R&D in IIoT, Edge, and Cloud; build technical documentation; and

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Physics, or equivalent practical experience.
• Understanding of IIoT, Cloud, and Edge computing concepts, ideally in an industrial (IT/OT) context.
• Readiness to quickly climb the steep learning curve of our Edge and IIoT technology stack.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering real user value.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional, international team environment.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Support the design, development, and rollout of machine connectivity solutions and blueprints bridging the IT/OT layer.
• Contribute to R&D activities within the CoE, exploring the latest trends in IIoT, Edge, and Cloud computing.
• Help build and maintain technical documentation — including connectivity blueprints, integration guides, project reports, and training materials.
• Co-organize workshops and knowledge-exchange sessions to spread best practices around IT/OT integration across the organization.
• Collaborate with peers across business units on joint IIoT and connectivity initiatives.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams on project planning, execution, and rollout of connectivity use cases.
• Provide technical and administrative support to the CoE team as needed.
