Growtoday AB invites a Backend Developer to join a remote-first engineering team building a scalable NFT platform. You will design and deliver robust microservices, APIs, and data workflows, while aligning with DevOps practices and security standards.

Fluency in English is required; Portuguese or French is a plus. The role emphasizes collaboration across disciplines, TDD, and modern web tech in a startup environment.

Qualificações

• Proven backend development experience (min 4 years).
• Strong NodeJS experience with ExpressJS framework.
• Experience with PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience building APIs using GraphQL.
• Experience with asynchronous communication.
• Familiar with agile methodologies (SCRUM/KANBAN).
• Solid knowledge of HTTP/Web APIs and web tech fundamentals.
• Understanding of security concerns: CORS, CSP, CSRF, XSS.
• Attention to design quality and scalable code; strong collaboration skills.
• Experience in Test Driven development and CI/CD practices.
• Comfortable working in a startup environment; English fluency mandatory; Portuguese or French a plus.
• Experience with cryptocurrencies and NFTs is a plus.

• Participate in design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of backend applications.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to align development and delivery processes.
• Influence microservice architecture decisions and decoupled backend services.
• Deliver high-quality features following patterns and best practices.
• Follow DevOps practices, CI, unit tests, and automated deployments.
• Help establish engineering best practices for maintainable and scalable code.
• Drive operational excellence through automation and monitoring.
• Clarify technical requirements with stakeholders and estimate effort.
