Job summary

Abbott is seeking a knowledgeable professional to provide technical support for Abbott Medical products across Portugal and Spain. The role includes installation, education for physicians, and ongoing customer servicing while supporting sales strategies.

You will travel up to 50% of the time, engage with clinicians during clinical studies, and collaborate with marketing and sales teams to optimize product adoption and market information flows.

Qualifications

• University Degree in an area of Health sciences.
• English and Portuguese: high level.
• Medical background (preferable).

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales and units per plan.
• Provide technical support of equipment and assistance over the whole national territory.
• Support physicians during enrolment and follow-up phase of clinical studies.
• Collaborate with the Therapy Marketing Group in those studies.
• Perform Product Presentations.
• Provide support to Sales and Tenders Team.
• Analyze competitor's devices and maintain updated marketing database.
• Attend and complete all necessary training concerning the use of new products.
• Ensure all Abbott Medical standing Quality Procedures are followed.
• Provide market information to Sales Department.
• Produce monthly reports on personal activities.
• Represent the Company in a professional manner and with the highest integrity.
• Proactively plan their weekly travel schedule and communicate this through the appropriate channels in your country/division.
• Keep his/her immediate manager informed (business progress, activities).
• Assist his/her manager to build the yearly implant plan required.
• Give support to other regions if necessary.
• This position is in contact with customers.
