Primer is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Data team to own delivery of the data platform, streaming, warehousing, and ML integration. You’ll coach engineers, shape the technical direction, and partner with Product and other functions to drive a scalable data‑driven decision making across the business.

In a remote‑first environment, you’ll empower a senior team, balance speed with quality, and guide architectural choices that directly impact revenue and merchant insights.

Qualificações

• Experience leading a data engineering team and delivering data platforms at scale.
• Ability to interrogate streaming architectures and assess data model trade-offs.
• Proven track record in productionizing data pipelines and data products that drive revenue or customer insights.
• Experience coaching engineers across a range of seniorities, including staff-level talent.
• Exposure to machine learning and leading ML initiatives within a data organization.
• Comfort operating with high autonomy and resolving ambiguity.
