Job summary

Intermedia is seeking a proactive DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate Linux-based infrastructure at scale. You will collaborate across multi-national teams to automate deployments, maintain tooling, and improve monitoring.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering or related field.
• Strong Linux knowledge and command-line proficiency.
• Experience with Chef or other configuration management tools.
• Ability to design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Github Actions, and Jenkins.
• Solid understanding of networking (DNS, TCP/UDP, firewalls, load balancers).
• Foundational security practices.
• Proficiency with scripting languages like Bash, Python, Ruby, or Go.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with devops and development teams to deploy and maintain infrastructure.
• Develop and support tooling to streamline deployment and maintenance of products.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines from development to production.
• Maintain and troubleshoot deployments for in-house and third-party apps.
• Build automation pipelines for deployment and maintenance.
• Handle day-to-day Linux server management via the command line.
• Create dashboards and alerts in Grafana with Prometheus and Alertmanager.
• Document processes and best practices clearly.
• Participate in on-call incident resolution.
