Intermedia is seeking a Deployment DevOps Engineer in Portugal to own and improve deployment processes across environments. You will build and maintain deployment pipelines primarily using Octopus Deploy, GitHub, and Ansible, ensuring automated, secure, and reliable releases for production.

Responsibilities include end-to-end release lifecycle, managing environments, and collaborating with developers, QA and operations to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Experience in DevOps/Release/Deployment engineering for production deployments.
• Hands-on with Octopus Deploy: multi-environment releases, lifecycles and channels.
• Strong Ansible skills for deployment and configuration (roles, vault/secrets).
• Strong knowledge of GitHub: PR workflows, tagging, releases and permissions.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and artifact management.
• Administration and troubleshooting on Windows and/or Linux hosts.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end release and deployment lifecycle from build to rollback.
• Develop and support Octopus Deploy projects, lifecycles, and deployment processes.
• Implement deployment automation with Ansible playbooks and roles.
• Maintain Git-based release workflows and release notes.
• Build/maintain CI pipelines to produce artifacts and trigger releases.
• Standardize deployment patterns across applications with templates and roles.
• Manage environment configuration and secrets with proper auditing.
