JUMO is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build and maintain scalable data architectures supporting our intelligent banking platform. You will work with large data sets using Spark, Kafka, Python and SQL, and deploy on AWS with Docker and Kubernetes.

The team focuses on performance, reliability and scalable data processing across distributed sources. You will collaborate with Portfolio Managers and Decision Scientists to solve real-world problems, mentor juniors, and contribute to a strong data

Qualificações

• Bachelor-level degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience designing and building data pipelines for large datasets.
• Proven experience with Spark and Kafka for streaming and batch processing.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; familiarity with cloud environments (AWS).
• Experience deploying and monitoring data workflows (Airflow, CI/CD practices).

Responsabilidades

• Create robust batch and streaming data processing capabilities.
• Design and maintain data pipelines powering analytics across the organisation.
• Provide feedback and mentor teammates to raise technical capability.
