Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience with Haskell.
• Experience with C and systems-level code.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL, incl. PL/pgSQL.
• Experience debugging in Linux environments.
• Open-source contributions or maintenance experience is a plus.
• Ability to explain technical solutions to non-experts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; bottleneck tuning.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ownership mindset and asynchronous work capability.

Responsibilities

• Improve PostgreSQL connectivity in the Data API driver (Hasql).
• Develop Data API capabilities and new features for a scalable API.
• Enhance reliability, performance, and observability of the API.
• Strengthen monitoring and diagnostics for operational issues.
• Handle incidents and escalated support requests.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve integration issues.
• Support developers and users with technical guidance.
