Kake is a remote-first, people-first global community of senior engineers. We are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to partner with customer teams and deploy production-grade AI-powered solutions, data pipelines, and integrations on our platform.

You will design, build, and iterate with customers, working hands-on with LLM-based systems and complex deployments. The role emphasizes strong ownership, independence, and clear communication in an international remote setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience shipping fullstack apps and data pipelines.
• Hands-on with LLM-based systems.
• Excellent English communication.
• Able to work remotely with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customer teams to scope the highest-impact use cases.
• Design, build, and deploy production-grade applications, integrations, and data pipelines.
• Prototype rapidly with customers and iterate based on feedback.
• Work with LLM-based systems, prompting, RAG, and agent workflows.
• Translate recurring customer needs into product feedback for improvement.
