Job summary

Shape is seeking an AI Engineer to merge deep LLM expertise with solid software engineering to design, build, and deploy AI-powered features across Shape App and Channels. You’ll work closely with product and SRE teams to deliver reliable, scalable AI capabilities for construction management.

You should be passionate about turning AI potential into practical tools for construction teams and prefer lean, iterative development over heavyweight solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in applying LLMs and generative AI to real-world problems.

Responsibilities

• Design Lean, Fit-for-Purpose AI Solutions for Shape products.
• Integrate AI-features into Shape App and Channels from prototyping to production.
• Ensure production-readiness with observability and secure inference pipelines.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and SREs to translate user needs into AI opportunities.
• Stay up-to-date with AI developments and apply them pragmatically with a product-focused mindset.
