Air Apps in Lisbon, Portugal, is seeking a Release Engineer to own the smooth, reliable release process for our AI-powered PRP platform. You will manage versioning, build management, and deployment workflows across environments.

You’ll collaborate with development, QA, DevOps and product teams to automate releases, reduce risk, and ensure secure, high-quality software delivery. Join a fast-growing, self-funded team building global impact.

Qualifications

• Around 3+ years in release engineering, DevOps, or build/release.
• Experience with CI/CD tools listed above.
• Strong Git version control and GitFlow or trunk-based dev.
• Experience with mobile and web build systems (Gradle, Webpack, Xcode).

Responsabilités

• Manage and optimize release pipelines for smooth updates.
• Define and maintain versioning strategies across environments.
• Coordinate with engineering, QA, DevOps for timely releases.
• Automate build, release, and deployment processes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot release issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain docs for release workflows and rollback plans.
• Ensure security, performance, and quality standards in releases.
• Work with CI/CD tools to manage automated releases.
• Implement feature flagging for controlled rollouts.
• Analyze release performance and drive improvements.
