Job summary

Hitachi Rail Portugal is seeking a Project Manager to lead railway signaling and control projects. The role drives delivery excellence, stakeholder alignment, and customer satisfaction across all project phases.

The ideal candidate has an electrotechnical engineering background, 5+ years in similar roles, and strong English skills. IPMA C or higher and Ordem dos Engenheiros membership are recommended.

Qualifications

• English is mandatory; French is recommended for communication.
• Electrotechnical Engineer Degree or equivalent.
• IPMA level C certification or above is preferred.
• Member of the Portuguese Engineering Association is advantageous.
• Over 5 years of experience in similar project management roles.

Responsibilities

• Project Initialization.
• Project Launch Review (Baseline Review).
• Project Execution, monitoring and controlling.
• Delivery and invoicing of project deliverables.
• Capture of Project Lesson Learnt.
• Project Closure.
