Job summary

Bosch Group is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer for Radar Systems in Braga, Portugal. The role focuses on bringing next-generation radar software from development into production and coordinating across embedded software, hardware, security, validation, and manufacturing teams.

You will ensure software maturity, manage dependencies, and drive production readiness through rigorous validation and release processes. Excellent English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong knowledge of embedded software lifecycles and release processes.
• Experience with software integration and production configurations.
• Exposure to manufacturing or production deployment environments is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the preparation and delivery of production-ready embedded software, ensuring contributions and configurations are complete and aligned.
• Manage technical dependencies and open topics across embedded software, hardware, security, validation, project and manufacturing teams.
• Provide transparency on software maturity, validation status, dependencies, delivery risks and open issues.
• Act as the central coordination interface for software-related production readiness and manufacturing topics.
• Coordinate validation and readiness checks to identify incomplete or incompatible software content before deployment.
• Facilitate technical collaboration and decision-making across multiple teams with clear ownership.
• Drive preventive improvements across the software-to-production delivery process.
• Continuously expand understanding of radar system-level dependencies.
