Job summary

Vodafone Group plc in Portugal is seeking a delivery-focused security professional to exploit Qualys vulnerability scanning and provide near real-time insights into the Vodafone estate. You will collaborate with the Qualys Solution Manager and DevOps teams to explore new solutions and ensure timely delivery.

The role demands strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to operate in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant subject.
• 5+ years of vulnerability management experience.
• 3+ years of software systems and development experience.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Produce High-level and Low-level Designs for implementation.

The purpose of the role is to support the exploitation of the functionality of the Qualys vulnerability scanning platform to provide near realtime insight into the status of the Vodafone estate The role is delivery focused and will work with the Qualys Solution Manager and the Dev Ops team to identify options for the development of new solutions and to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires innovation to deliver and will require a clear focus on delivery. Knowledge of vulnerability scanning, the Qualys platform are essential, experience of Wiz for Cloud scanning would be a desirable additional skill.. This requires strong communication skills and an absolute attention to detail.

This role will be required to operate effectively in a complex, dynamic, and constantly changing environment. Active & compelling engagement of teams and stakeholders will be crucial in creating the momentum required

What you’ll do

Who you are

• Degree educated (or equivalent) in a relevant subject;
• Agile delivery using Scrum or Kanban methodologies;
• 5+ years experience of vulnerability management;
• 3+ years experience of software systems and development;
• Experience communicating technical information to all key stakeholder levels;
• Self-motivated and ability to work alone and as part of a team;
• Fluency in English.
