Job summary

Forvia in Portugal seeks a Quality Trainee to join the team and support the Program Quality Leader in product and process quality during development. You will assist with daily program quality tasks, collect lessons learned, and help implement control plans across projects.

The role offers exposure to PPAP documentation, internal and customer audits, and collaboration on improvement plans in an international setting.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Master’s degree in Engineering (mechanical, plastics, or related fields).
• Basic understanding of quality tools (FMEA, problem solving, functional analysis, etc.).
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Profile:

Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Master's degree in Engineering (mechanical, plastics, or related fields).

Experience:

Previous internship or academic project experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is a plus.

Skills and Competencies:

• Basic understanding of quality tools (FMEA, problem solving, functional analysis, etc.) is desirable.
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
