Winthrop Technologies is seeking a Quality Lead for a major Data Centre project in Sines, Portugal. This senior site-based role drives quality strategy, ensures compliance with project specifications, and leads the QA/QC team to deliver works to the highest standards.

You will work closely with Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Commissioning and Client teams to promote a right-first-time quality culture across CSA and MEP works on this critical infrastructure project.

Qualificações

• Degree in Engineering or Construction (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years’ QA/QC experience on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of CSA and MEP installations.
• Experience in data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial, or mission-critical environments desirable.
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and reporting skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead implementation of the Project Quality Management System across CSA and MEP works.
• Manage and mentor QA/QC Engineers on site.
• Oversee ITPs, inspections, testing, and quality documentation.
• Manage NCRs and drive corrective actions.
• Liaise with construction, commissioning, subcontractors, and client representatives.
• Ensure quality dossiers and handover documentation are completed to required standards.
• Support audits and promote a right-first-time quality culture.

This is a senior site-based role responsible for driving quality strategy, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and leading the QA/QC team to deliver works to the highest standards. The Quality Lead will act as the primary quality representative on site, working closely with Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Commissioning, and Client teams.
