Job summary

A Coloplast Manufacturing Portugal procura um Quality Engineer (Supply) para integrar a nova unidade de manufatura do segmento Continence Care. Neste papel, será parceiro da produção, assegurando que a qualidade desde as matérias-primas até à entrega aos utilizadores atende aos padrões exigidos.

Será responsável por liderar atividades de qualidade com fornecedores, aprovar documentação de materiais, gerir reclamações, apoiar alterações, desvios e ações corretivas, contribuindo para operações

Qualifications

• Formação académica relevante (B.Sc. ou superior).
• Experiência mínima de 2 anos como Supplier Quality Engineer em ambiente de produção.
• Conhecimento sólido de GDP/GMP e documentação de qualidade.
• Conhecimento de CAPA, SCAR, QC e contratos de qualidade.

Responsibilities

• Liderar atividades de qualidade no site em ligação com fornecedores.
• Aprovar documentação relacionada com matérias-primas e produtos.
• Gerir o tratamento de queixas com fornecedores.
• Apoiar produção em alterações, desvios e melhorias.
• Garantir análises de falhas e ações corretivas/preventivas.

Do you want to join the creation and development of the new manufacturing for our Continence Care segment within Coloplast?

Be a service partner for/and support the production process, from a quality function,toproduce the productsourusers’needs in the quality needed?

Here you will play a key role inthe qualityof the products produced as a partnerinthereleaseprocessofraw materialsandtroubleshootingforsupplier relatedtopics. You willplay a pivotal role inensuring the successofourroll-out plan as thequalityof raw materials and close supplier collaborationis a keycomponentand thegate keeperforsendingmaterialstoproduction,atour new site.Furthermore, thequalityofourproduction startswith the incoming materials,whichweverifyand ensure the quality of ourraw materialsand therefore for our users.

What You will Do:

• Support andpromotethequality culture for thewhole site
• Lead, execute and documentqualityactivitieson sitein connection with suppliers
• Be the approver ofdocumentation related toraw materialsand products on site
• Manage the complaint handling processes with suppliers
• Support production– Partner towards production forchanges, troubleshooting,deviationsand improvement activities
• Ensureandfacilitate/executefailure analysis and corrective/preventive actionin connection withdeviations
• Review and support improvements of specifications
• Participation in root cause analysisregardingraw materialsandsuppliers
• Communicatewith the production, supplychainand the suppliers
• Be thefirst line of communication for suppliers for the site

Your Qualifications:

• Academic background: A relevant academic background (B.Sc. or higher).
• Experience:
• Minimum2years as aSupplierQualityEngineerorsimilarwithina production environment, preferablyMedicaldevice production
• Solid understanding within the field of Quality in relation to productioni.e.GDP and GMP etc. (Quality Assuranceexperienceis a plus)
• Knowledge ofcertificates,documentation from quality point of view,contracts, QC,SCAR, CAPA,etc.
• Project knowledge and experience
• Productionknowledge – Value chain understanding
• Business understanding: Holistic understanding of End-To-End production
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in spoken and written English (other languages are a plus).

Timing:

• Expectedstart isApril,2025.
• Workplace will be Felgueiras in Portugal
• The workplacewillinFelgueiras,Portugalat our coming site;anda long training period atone of our Hungarian sites forin sessions of 3-6 weeksandvisitsofvarious lengths (1-2weeks stints)for trainingandintroductionsat ourothersites in Hungary and Denmark.
• The travel program will be defined together with the manager.
