Job summary

Coloplast seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer for our Felgueiras site in Portugal. You will safeguard material and product quality by partnering with suppliers and supporting the release processes for raw materials. In this role you lead quality activities on site, manage documentation, CAPA and SCAR, and participate in root cause analysis.

• Minimum 2 years as a Supplier Quality Engineer or similar in a production environment.
• Solid understanding of GDP and GMP; knowledge of quality certificates and documentation.
• Experience with QC, SCAR, CAPA, contracts; project knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support and promote quality culture on site.
• Lead, execute and document quality activities with suppliers.
• Approve documentation for raw materials and products.
• Manage supplier complaint handling processes.
• Support production changes, troubleshooting, deviations and improvements.
• Ensure failure analysis and CAPA in deviations.
• Review and improve specifications.
• Participate in root cause analysis regarding materials and suppliers.
• Communicate with production, supply chain and suppliers.
• Be first line of communication for suppliers.

• Support andpromotethequality culture for thewhole site

Your Qualifications:

Academic background: A relevant academic background (B. Sc.Or higher).

Experience:

Minimum2years as a Supplier Quality Engineerorsimilarwithina production environment, preferably Medicaldevice production Solid understanding within the field of Qualityin relation to productioni.E. GDP and GMP etc. (Quality Assuranceexperienceis a plus) Knowledge ofcertificates,documentation from quality point of view,contracts, QC, SCAR, CAPA,etc. Project knowledge and experience Business understanding: Holistic understanding of End-To-End production Language Proficiency: Fluent in spoken and written English (other languages are a plus). Timing: Workplace will be Felgueiras in Portugal The workplace will in Felgueiras, Portugal at our site and introductions/trainings at our other sites in Hungary and Denmark.
