Job summary

Coloplast is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer for its manufacturing site in Portugal (Felgueiras) to strengthen the quality function in partnership with suppliers and raw materials, ensuring GDP/GMP compliance and a smooth release process.

You will lead quality activities with suppliers, approve documentation, manage complaints, drive CAPAs, and support production changes and deviations as part of the roll-out plan for the new site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as Supplier Quality Engineer in a production environment.
• Solid understanding of GDP and GMP; QA experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of quality documentation, QC, SCAR, CAPA processes.
• Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support and promote quality culture for the site.
• Lead, execute and document quality activities on site with suppliers.
• Be the approver of documentation related to raw materials and products on site.
• Manage the complaint handling processes with suppliers.
• Support production changes, troubleshooting, deviations and improvements.
• Facilitate failure analyses and corrective/preventive actions for deviations.
• Review and support improvements of specifications.
• Participate in root cause analysis for raw materials and suppliers.
• Communicate with production, supply chain and suppliers.
• Be the first line of communication for suppliers for the site.

Your Qualifications:

• Academic background:A relevant academic background (B.Sc.or higher).
• Experience:
• Minimum2years as aSupplierQualityEngineerorsimilarwithina production environment, preferablyMedicaldevice production
• Solid understanding within the field of Qualityin relation to productioni.e.GDP and GMP etc. (Quality Assuranceexperienceis a plus)
• Knowledge ofcertificates,documentation from quality point of view,contracts, QC,SCAR, CAPA,etc.
• Project knowledge and experience
• Business understanding:Holistic understanding of End-To-End production
• Language Proficiency:Fluent in spoken and written English (other languages are a plus).

Workplace will be Felgueiras in Portugal

The workplace will in Felgueiras, Portugal at our site and introductions/trainings at our other sites in Hungary and Denmark. The travel program will be defined together with the manager.
