Vishay Intertechnology Portugal is seeking a proactive Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Famalicao team. You will drive quality improvements, collaborate with manufacturing and QA, and support audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will hold an Engineering degree, have knowledge of Quality Management Systems and tools, and communicate in English while demonstrating strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, statistics, and process improvement.
• Experience with quality tools (FMEA, SPC, APQP, PPAP, MSA, Control Plans) is a plus.
• Proficiency in English; strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Drive process and product quality improvements through data analysis, root cause investigations and CI initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with quality standards, customer requirements and regulations.
• Support process excellence by applying quality methodologies and tools across manufacturing operations.
• Lead and participate in quality audits, corrective actions and process improvement projects.
• Monitor key quality metrics to identify opportunities for performance enhancement and defect prevention.
• Provide guidance and support to teams on quality best practices and CI methodologies.
