Vishay Electrónica Portugal, part of Vishay Intertechnology, Inc., is seeking a proactive Quality Assurance Engineer to drive operational excellence in a manufacturing setting in Famalicão, Portugal. The role focuses on data-driven quality improvements, audits, and cross-functional collaboration to meet customer requirements and industry standards.

You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, apply QMS tools, and support a culture of quality across the production environment.

Qualificações

• Degree in Engineering.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, statistical analysis, and process improvement methodologies.
• Experience with quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, APQP, PPAP, MSA, and Control Plans is an advantage.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Drive process and product quality improvements through data analysis, root cause investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with quality standards, customer requirements, and industry regulations.
• Support process excellence by applying quality methodologies and tools across manufacturing operations.
• Lead and participate in quality audits, corrective actions, and process improvement projects.
• Monitor key quality metrics to identify opportunities for performance enhancement and defect prevention.
• Provide guidance and support to teams on quality best practices and continuous improvement methodologies.
