Job summary

Vishay Electrónica Portugal, part of Vishay Intertechnology, Inc., is seeking a proactive Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Braga site. You will drive quality improvements, analyze data, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure adherence to quality standards and customer requirements.

You will support continuous improvement initiatives, lead audits, and monitor key quality metrics while applying industry tools in a fast‑growing manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and statistical analysis.
• Experience with quality methodologies and tools (FMEA, SPC, APQP, PPAP, MSA, Control Plans) is advantageous.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive process and product quality improvements through data analysis, root cause investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with quality standards, customer requirements, and industry regulations.
• Support process excellence by applying quality methodologies and tools across manufacturing operations.
• Lead and participate in quality audits, corrective actions, and process improvement projects.
• Monitor key quality metrics to identify opportunities for performance enhancement and defect prevention.
• Provide guidance and support to teams on quality best practices and continuous improvement methodologies.
