Natixis in Portugal is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to develop and maintain automated tests using Robot Framework or Selenium, collaborating with product and development teams to ensure robust coverage. The role emphasizes mentoring junior QA members and driving continuous QA process improvements.

You will work in a hybrid setup with a focus on test automation excellence, quality metrics, and timely defect reporting, while aligning with Agile practices and international standards.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
• Strong proficiency in Robot and/or Selenium for test automation.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Relevant certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE are a plus.
• Proficiency in French (C1 level mandatory).

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain test cases and test scripts using Robot and/or Selenium.
• Execute and analyze automated tests to identify defects and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Participate in the design and implementation of test automation frameworks.
• Investigate and report software defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process and best practices.
• Provide accurate and timely status reports on testing progress and results.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior QA team members.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and tools related to test automation.
