Intapp is expanding its Lisbon Research & Development center and seeks a QA Automation Engineer to grow our test automation capabilities. You will design and maintain automated test frameworks (Playwright) for web apps, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and release quality.

The ideal candidate brings a strong software engineering mindset, 5+ years in testing, and proficiency in React, HTML, CSS, and modern QA practices.

Qualificações

• 5+ years experience in software testing with a focus on test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end test automation.
• Solid understanding of software development principles and Agile methodologies; experience with React, HTML and CSS.
• Experience configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and version control workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with product managers, software architects, and developers on release planning and design.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites for web apps.
• Create comprehensive test strategies, including manual and automated scenarios.
• Execute manual testing when appropriate: exploratory, functional, regression, UAT.
• Build and maintain automation tooling using Playwright as the primary framework.
• Run automated tests within CI/CD pipelines and report results; contribute to dashboards and metrics.

What you will do:

• Collaborate across functions with product managers, software architects, and developers, contributing to release planning and software design.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites for web applications.
• Create comprehensive test strategies, including both manual and automated test scenarios.
• Execute manual testing where appropriate, including exploratory, functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Build and maintain automation tooling using Playwright primarily.
• Build and run automated tests as part of continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Create dashboards and reporting metrics to drive release quality and continuous improvements.

What you will need:

• Proven experience in software testing, including test planning, test case creation, execution, defect reporting, and issue tracking (typically 5+ years), with a strong focus on test automation.
• Hands‑on experience with Playwrite for e2e test automation.
• Solid understanding of software development principles and Agile methodologies, with hands‑on experience in React(preferred), and familiarity with web technologies such as HTML and CSS.
• Expert knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools, covering both manual and automated testing approaches.
• Experience in configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing workflows, along with proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong organizational and time management skills to work across projects, proactively managing competing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills to work in a collaborative environment and participate in stakeholder meetings.
• Familiarity with load, stress, or performance testing tools and methodologies is a plus.
• An understanding of Microsoft Azure & Amazon Web Services is a plus.
• An ISTQB/ISEB certification is a plus.
• Fluency in English.
