Extia is looking for an experienced QA Automation Specialist to design, build and maintain automated functional and regression tests in complex cloud environments. You will leverage AI tools to optimize QA workflows and ensure high data quality across data pipelines and databases.

You will bridge tech and business by translating functional rules into solid quality strategies and collaborate with international teams using Agile practices, Jira, and Git.

Qualificações

• Proven track record in automated functional and regression testing.
• Strong experience in AWS environments and related services.
• Solid Python programming skills (basic–intermediate).
• Experience with PostgreSQL and data pipelines.
• Familiarity with Power BI for reporting.
• Experience with Jira for workflow tracking and Git for version control.
• ISTQB certification is a bonus.

• Experience: Around 7 years of general experience in Quality Assurance

What You'll Do:

• Design, build, and maintain automated functional and regression tests in complex cloud environments.
• Leverage AI tools and modern testing frameworks to optimize QA workflows, test coverage, and execution speed.
• Bridge the gap between tech and business by understanding functional domain rules and translating them into solid quality strategies.
• Work closely with data pipelines, cloud services, and database environments to ensure high data quality and system reliability.
• Collaborate with international development and business teams using Agile practices, managing workflows in Jira, and versioning code via Git.
• Build power-driven reporting and insights (e.g., via Power BI) to track test execution, quality metrics, and system performance.

What We're Looking For:

• Core QA & Automation: Proven track record in automated testing (functional & regression) and a passion for continuous testing practices.
• Cloud & AWS Ecosystem: Strong hands‑on experience in AWS environments. Key services include PySpark, AWS Athena, Lambda, Step Functions, Iceberg Tables, and Redshift.
• Programming & Scripting: Solid foundations in Python (at least basic‑to‑intermediate level).
• Databases: Essential experience with PostgreSQL (experience with MySQL or SQL Server is a plus).
• Tools & Analytics: Familiarity with Power BI for reporting, Jira for tracking, and Git for version control.
• Certifications (Nice to Have): ISTQB certification is a great bonus!
