Fyld is hiring a Python Backend Developer to join our energetic Lisbon-based team. You will design, implement and maintain robust backend services, focusing on scalability, reliability and clean code.

You bring at least 3 years of professional Python experience, strong knowledge of Python 3.x, REST APIs, and relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL). familiarity with Django/Flask/FastAPI, ORM, Git, Docker, and CI/CD is highly valued. Fluency in English required.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience with Python.
• Strong Python 3.x and object-oriented programming.
• Experience developing backend applications and services.
• Experience with Django, Flask, FastAPI or similar.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL or similar relational databases.
• Experience with SQL and ORM technologies.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and external systems.
• Good understanding of software architecture, clean code and development best practices.
• Experience with automated testing.
• Good knowledge of Git.
• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD.
• Understanding of backend security best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize production applications.
• Experience working in Agile development teams.
• Fluency in English.
