Natixis in Portugal is seeking a Python Data Engineer (French Speaker) to join its BPCE SI team to work in Porto or Lisbon. The ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data platforms to enable data-driven decision making.

You will collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Analysts, and Business Stakeholders to understand data needs, implement testing, data quality checks, and governance, and contribute to CI/CD for data pipelines.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of professional data engineering experience.
• Strong Python development skills and data pipeline design.
• Experience with Google Cloud or AWS/Azure and SQL.
• Hands-on data lake/warehouse, ETL/ELT concepts, data modeling.
• Familiarity with Airflow and CI/CD for data pipelines.
• Version control with Git and collaboration tools.
• Excellent communication in French (B1) and English.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines (ELT/ETL).
• Build data models and schemas for data warehouse/data lake.
• Develop in Python to implement transformations, orchestration, and data quality checks.
• Integrate testing (UAT/QA) and ensure release-ready pipelines.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Scientists, Analysts, and Stakeholders.
• Implement data quality, monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Ensure data governance, security and privacy controls.
• Create technical docs, dictionaries, runbooks, and test plans.
