Natixis in Portugal seeks a Data Engineer (French speaker) to join the BPCE-SI team in a hybrid Porto office role. You will design, develop, and maintain the data warehouse, leveraging PowerCenter and PL/SQL to ensure data quality and performance.

Familiarity with Power BI is a plus as you collaborate across teams. Required fluency in French and English (B2), a solid data modeling background, and experience with ETL tools.

Qualificações

• Higher education degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, ETL Developer, or in a similar role.
• Expertise with a major ETL tool; PowerCenter is a strong asset; experience with other ETL tools is a plus.
• Excellent proficiency in PL/SQL for developing and optimizing queries and scripts (Oracle is strongly recommended).
• Solid knowledge of data modeling and data warehouse design.
• Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., Oracle).
• Experience with Power BI for creating reports and dashboards (optional).
• Fluent French, both written and spoken. B2 level in English.
• Autonomy, rigor, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• We will only consider CVs in English.

• Implement and follow best practices in data quality, governance, and security.
• Participate in design and development of dashboards and reports in Power BI.
• Share technical expertise and potentially mentor junior team members.

Job Description

Natixisin Portugal is currently seeking a Data Engineer (French Speaker) to join its BPCE-SI (BPCE Solutions Informatiques)team,within the IT (Information Technologies) department, to work in a hybrid model in the Porto office.

The mission, as a Data Engineer, consists in having a key role in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining our data warehouse. A technical expertise, particularly with ETL tools like PowerCenter, combined with your proficiency in PL/SQL, will be essential in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our data. Familiarity with Power BI will be considered a significant asset.
