Natixis in Portugal seeks a Data Engineer (French speaker) to join the BPCE-SI team in a hybrid Porto office role. You will design, develop, and maintain the data warehouse, leveraging PowerCenter and PL/SQL to ensure data quality and performance.

Familiarity with Power BI is a plus as you collaborate across teams. Required fluency in French and English (B2), a solid data modeling background, and experience with ETL tools.

Qualificações

• Higher education degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, ETL Developer, or in a similar role.
• Expertise with a major ETL tool; PowerCenter is a strong asset; experience with other ETL tools is a plus.
• Excellent proficiency in PL/SQL for developing and optimizing queries and scripts (Oracle is strongly recommended).
• Solid knowledge of data modeling and data warehouse design.
• Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., Oracle).
• Experience with Power BI for creating reports and dashboards (optional).
• Fluent French, both written and spoken. B2 level in English.
• Autonomy, rigor, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• We will only consider CVs in English.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust data integration solutions using PowerCenter or similar ETL tools such as Talend, ODI, Semarchy/Stambia, Oracle Exadata Database.
• Develop and optimize PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, and queries to support business data needs.
• Participate in the modeling and evolution of our datawarehouse, ensuring data consistency and integrity.
• Collaborate with business teams and other technical teams to translate data requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure maintenance, support, and optimization of existing data pipelines.
• Diagnose and resolve data-related and ETL pipeline issues.
• Implement and follow best practices in data quality, governance, and security.
• Participate in design and development of dashboards and reports in Power BI.
• Share technical expertise and potentially mentor junior team members.
